Alexandra Burke, Geri Horner, David Walliams, and Gyles Brandreth have been unveiled as the inaugural ambassadors of the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS), marking the organisation's 152nd anniversary.
X Factor winner Burke, who performed at the 2020 Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey, will 'seek to promote meaningful and impactful education opportunities for young people in the Commonwealth through her appointment', and she said 'With so many values that are close to my own heart, especially better connected and inclusive communities and providing meaningful and impactful education opportunities for young people, I am thrilled to become an RCS ambassador'.
